The Students’ Union of the Mediterranean College is the liveliest cell of the College, the heart of student life and integral part of a modern education model adopted and applied by the Mediterranean College. Through the Students’ Union, students can take active part in the College events and make proposals for the improvement of the College daily life.<\/p>\n
All students can become members of the Union upon their registration to the College. In specific, every college department has two elected representatives for the whole class. Representatives are elected on the first week of the academic year. The elections for the Board of the Students’ Union are organized by the Student Affairs Office in cooperation with the department representatives on the second week of the academic year. The elections are open to all students who have the right to elect or be elected, regardless of whether they are representatives of the department or not. The elections for the Board of the Students’ Union of the Mediterranean College are a major institution and all students feel excited and interested in participating.<\/p>\n
The Board of the Students’ Union is a connecting link between students and the Academic and Administrative Directorate of the College. It participates in academic and administrative boards, expresses the students’ opinion, comments and decides on issues concerning the student community. Mission of the Union is to bring all students closer together and also encourage and mobilize them to participate in sport, cultural and recreational events organized throughout the year. The Students’ Union closely cooperates with the Student Affairs Office.<\/p>\n
The activities of the Students’ Union include the organization of trips in Greece and abroad, visits to partner Universities of Great Britain, annual meetings of the students, Halloween parties, attendance of theatrical performances, karaoke nights, movie screening, video watching, relaxing evenings with board games and philosophical discussions, chess\/ backgammon\/ ping-pong\/ paintball\/ 5×5 football\/ basketball and other tournaments.<\/p>\n
