Dimitropoulos Giorgos

Giorgos Dimitropoulos is a member of the British Educational Research Association (BERA). He is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education programme at the University of Derby, having completed his studies at Mediterranean College. During his studies, he received multiple distinctions, awards, and scholarships, including the award for Best Student across the entire college, graduating with the highest overall performance in his field. He completed postgraduate studies at University College London in the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, supported by a partial scholarship, and has also studied Physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is committed to contributing to society through education and has nearly twenty years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics at secondary education level. During the 2020–2021 academic year, he served as a teaching and research assistant on the MA Education programme at the University of Derby. His research interests include intercultural education, the globalisation of education, and curriculum development that promotes identity, justice, and democratic values, an area that also constitutes the focus of his doctoral research. To date, he has published two academic articles, with two additional publications currently under review.
