Step by step Application

Bachelor Studies applicants

  • Complete application form (Application Form)
  • Passport
  • High School Certificate and transcripts
  • English language certificate (Read our English language requirements)
  • One reference letter
    The reference letter should be from people that can comment thoughtfully on your abilities. This may include current/former tutors or/and employers. Undergraduate applicants are encouraged to use the College Reference Form
  • A passport-sized photo

Masters Studies applicants

  • Complete application form (Application Form)
  • Passport
  • Bachelor Degree and transcripts
  • English language certificate (Read our English language requirements)
  • One reference letter
    The reference letter should be from people that can comment thoughtfully on your abilities. This may include current/former tutors or/and employers. Undergraduate applicants are encouraged to use the College Reference Form
  • A passport-sized photo
  • A detailed CV

3. Payment of the Application Fee

Once you have collected all required documents, filled in the Application form and submitted by email, proceed to payment of the (non-refundable) Application Fee of 50€ for undergraduate courses or 100€ for postgraduate courses.

4. Receive & Accept your Offer

As soon as we receive your application with all supporting documents and if you satisfy the admission entry requirements for your chosen course, you will be sent a notification. Once received, you must inform us of acceptance.

5. Proceed to payment of deposit

In order to register with the College, if you are an EU student, you must deposit the registration fee of 600€ for undergraduate studies, or 650€ for postgraduate studies.

If you are a non-EU student requiring a visa, you must additionally proceed to a 50% deposit on your annual fees,

6. Receive your Registration Letter

Once you receive your Registration Letter, if you are an EU student, you are ready for your studies. If you are a non-EU student, you have two more steps!

7. Apply for a D.1.1 type Visa (for non-EU citizens)

If you are a non-EU citizen, you are requested to apply for a student visa (national visa – type D 1.1) at your home Greek Embassy or Consulate. You can locate the Greek Embassy/Consulate in your country here .

Ensure that you contact your local Greek Embassy or Consulate for updated information and details on the student entry visa process.

It is critical that you make your application at least 8-12 weeks prior to arrival in Greece.

 The following documents are required:

Application form for a visa for a long stay in Greece, fully filled in and signed (Application form for a person under 18-years-old should be signed by both parents or by the legal guardian)

  • One recent passport-sized, color photograph
  • Passport that should:

be valid and exceed by three months the ending date of the visa length

have at least two blank pages

have been issued within the previous ten years

  • Criminal Record Certificate, recent and duly attested
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Travel medical insurance

Additional documents required:

  • Registration letter and fee payment (issued by Mediterranean College)
  • Certificate by the Ministry of Education that Mediterranean College holds a valid license and is registered in the relevant records (provided by Mediterranean College)
  • Proof of adequate knowledge of the English language
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses, cost of study and repatriation (including eventual scholarship)

Important notes:

Original documents and passports submitted must be accompanied along with a copy

All documents submitted, if not in Greek or English, should be accompanied by a certified English translation

The applicant may be asked for additional documents and will be called for a personal interview at the Embassy/Consulate.

The visa fee is not refunded if the visa is refused.

8. Apply for a H.5.2 type Residence permit upon arrival (for non-EU citizens)

Within 40 days of your arrival in Greece you will need to issue your residence permit. We facilitate the collection of all the required documents and we provide you with guidance in the application process.

It is important that you meet the deadlines in order to secure a place in the course and make sure there is time for the student visa procedures to be completed (for non-EU applicants).

Applications beyond the above deadlines are possible under certain conditions. Please contact the international office for further information.
