Dr Aznaouridis Ioannis

Dr. Ioannis Aznaouridis is a retired Lieutenant General who served as Director of the Army Finance Corps (2017–2019), with 40 years of service in the Hellenic Armed Forces and extensive experience in command and staff positions. He also has significant teaching experience in Higher Education (Universities and Colleges). He holds a PhD and an MSc in Economics from the University of the Aegean, as well as two bachelor’s degrees in economics and in Political & Social Sciences. He has an extensive research and publication record, with numerous scientific works and conference participations, and has received multiple distinctions for his academic and professional achievements. His research interests focus on political economy, finance, institutional sustainability, and the intersection of ethics, economics, and artificial intelligence.
