Κωνσταντίνος Γκαράκης, PhD c.

He joined Mediterranean College (MC) in 2023. He is the Module Leader for Power Conversion: Electric Power and Solar Systems at MC’s post-graduate program MSc Renewable Energy Engineering, in collaboration with the University of Derby, UK.
He has significant experience in the development of RES projects (wind farms, photovoltaic plants, small hydroelectric projects, geothermal) in all stages of the licensing process and technical development. His career in the field began in 2000. Having the opportunity to work in large energy groups and gradually acquiring positions of responsibility, he had the opportunity to develop many RES projects (wind, photovoltaic), which are still operating throughout the territory. At the same time, he was involved in RES projects in Cyprus and Spain. He has taught courses in the PG programmes of several Hellenic Universities.
