Study Options
Choosing to study at Mediterranean College means that you have the privilege to study in Greece and – at the same time – be awarded a degree by a reputable UK University. As an international student you have a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to choose from, all of which being franchised by the UK University of Derby.
You may study the entire course in Greece, or study part of the course in Greece and part of it at the University of Derby in the UK.

Entry & Language Requirements
Entry requirements differ by course. As a branch campus of the University of Derby in Greece, we apply entry requirements equivalent to those for students studying at the university in the UK.

Postgraduate: Typically, our courses require a strong honours undergraduate degree. However, some programmes may consider applicants who do not have formal academic qualifications but possess equivalent professional qualifications and/or relevant experience. English Language Requirements
You are required to have English language competency before the start of your studies.
- International Foundation Programme
IELTS 4.5, or equivalent - Undergraduate programmes
IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all areas), or Pearson Test of Academic English 50+, or Cambridge English Scale B2, or equivalent. - Postgraduate courses
IELTS 6.0-6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5-6.0 in all areas), or Pearson Test of Academic English 50+/58+, or Cambridge English Scale B2/C1, or equivalent.
If you have studied in an English-speaking country (such as the UK, USA, Canada or Australia) or graduated from an English-medium high school or university, a formal English language qualification is not required.
If your English level is slightly below your programme’s entry requirement, you may attend our four- or eight-week intensive course, offered free of charge in July and September. Alternatively, you may enroll in the International Foundation Programme, which focuses on developing English language and academic skills before beginning your core studies.
The English Department at Mediterranean College has extensive experience supporting students. In addition to the Foundation Programme and pre-sessional courses, students can benefit from drop-in hours and extra classes throughout the year.
Fees
Students studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Mediterranean College are enrolled with both the College and its partner institution, the University of Derby in the UK. Tuition fees are set in Euros and are payable annually.

Discounts
International students are entitled to the following discounts:
-10% for paying upfront the 2-year full time master’s tuition fees
-8% full advance payment discount
-5% for paying the annual tuition fees in 2 instalments
Payment Plans
International students who require a student visa must have paid 50% of the annual tuition fee before the application for a visa, with the remaining 50% due before the start of their programme. International students who do not require a student visa, may arrange a tuition payment plan in up to three (3) instalments.
Scholarships
Mediterranean College offers partial scholarships of up to 20% to support international applicants who demonstrate academic, professional, athletic, or artistic merit, as well as those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Moreover, international graduates from our bachelor’s programmes may receive a 25% scholarship, when progressing to postgraduate studies at the College.
