Dr Aristotelis Mavrommatis

Dr. Aristotelis Mavrommatis is a Civil Engineer graduate of the National Technical University of Athens specializing in Hydraulics. He holds an MSc in Coastal Zone Management from the interdisciplinary postgraduate programme “Water Resources Science and Technology” of the National Technical University of Athens and completed his PhD research at the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA. His research focuses on experimental investigations of open-channel flow with simulated vegetation and has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented at international conferences. Since 2023, he has been teaching undergraduate modules in Fluid and Drainage Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, Structures, and Construction Materials Technology, as well as the postgraduate module Flood Risk Engineering Management, at the School of Engineering of Mediterranean College.
