Dr. Christophoros Kallioniatis

Dr. Christoforos Kalloniatis is an economist and researcher at Mediterranean College, specializing in Defence Economics, Environmental Economics, and European Economic Governance. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences with a focus on the Economics of the Environment from the University of the Aegean, an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of the Aegean, where he graduated first in his cohort. A Lieutenant Colonel in the Financial Corps of the Hellenic Army, Dr. Kalloniatis has accumulated over two decades of senior leadership experience in public financial management, defence procurement, and strategic planning, currently serving as Staff Officer at the Hellenic Army General Staff. He has taught at the University of the Aegean, the University of Thessaly, and the Hellenic National Defence College, and has lectured at international forums under the Jean Monnet Network. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, with contributions to Routledge’s The Economics of the Global Defence Industry. His research interests include defence industry economics, EU fiscal policy, environmental taxation, and supply chain management.
