Dr. Areti Leopoulou
Art historian and curator, currently Deputy Artistic Director at MOMUS-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography. She holds a PhD in Art History (State Scholarships Foundation) and has held interdisciplinary curatorial posts in major contemporary art institutions. She has taught at the International Hellenic University (Department of Creative Design & Clothing). Her practice often engages experimental and cross-disciplinary artistic fields (including new media, textiles and costumes, social interaction) and explores the productive intersections of visual and applied arts. Her research interests focus on conceptual art, feminism, everyday life, and interdisciplinary/experimental practices. Her publications include the monograph Beneficial Parasites (Futura, 2017), alongside numerous contributions for exhibition, collective and conference editions.Danae Ioannou
Danae Ioannou is a fashion theorist and researcher with a background in Philosophy of Art, Aesthetics, and Art Theory. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy & Aesthetics, while serving as Programme Leader of the BA (Hons) Fashion Design & Marketing at Mediterranean College, Athens (GR). Her research explores everyday aesthetics, negative aesthetics, fashion theory, and the intersections of disgust, desire, and identity within contemporary culture. She has presented her work at international conferences including the American Society of Aesthetics, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and University of Florence, and has published in journals such as ZoneModa, Fashion Highlight and Popular Inquiry.
