Dr Anna Mamou

She holds a Diploma (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Warwick and the University of Southampton, where she completed her PhD under a scholarship awarded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). She has extensive academic experience, having served as Academic Fellow and Research Associate in Higher Education institutions in Greece. She has also participated in engineering consultancy and design projects in the United Kingdom and Greece, with particular emphasis on soil–structure interaction in public and private sector works. Her research expertise includes the experimental investigation and computational modelling of the mechanical behaviour of soils and rock masses. She has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals. At MC she is the module leader for Soil Mechanics, Geotechnics and Construction Management.
