The School of Economics & Business at Mediterranean College was one of the first business schools established in Greece (1977) and the first to offer an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 1989. This module aims to support students in developing a Hospitality and Tourism entrepreneurial mindset, whether they decide to start their own business or be an enterprising employee within an organization. Students will develop sustainable and technological-based entrepreneurship leadership and managerial skills, as well as a way of thinking that inspires, challenges, and enables students to find innovative solutions, create opportunities, and develop innovative customer expectations and service experiences.
Upon successful completion, students will be able to design and promote sustainable entrepreneurship value-added customer service experiences, critically evaluate appropriate management models, develop personal development goals, and explore how the proposed value-added customer service design can deliver viable experiences and quality management reflecting current and future trends. Digital Marketing Strategies for International Tourism and Hospitality Markets
The module aims to enhance students' understanding of digital marketing strategies in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, focusing on their suitability across international markets. It aims to support progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in these markets. Successful completion of the module will enable students to demonstrate strategic implications, critically assess innovative strategies, and develop a strategic plan for implementing digital marketing tools. The module covers environmental analysis, customer profiling, market intelligence, strategy modeling, marketing tools, global marketing trends, corporate digital responsibility, and the future digital landscape.
Strategy, Finance and Business Transformation
This module aims to develop understanding of strategic management, financial performance, and risk in the pursuit of organizational competitive advantage. It focuses on understanding the scope and direction of an organization's vision, mission, and objectives, addressing Ethics, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) aspirations and elements of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The module follows a sequential process of strategic analysis, strategic choice, and strategic implementation, resulting in changed actions or business transformation. It challenges students to critically evaluate contemporary research and debates on the relationship between mission, vision, organizational objectives, and stakeholder approaches to satisfying ESG and SDG aspirations. It also examines the performance of an organization, identifying and assessing financial and non-financial risks, and proposing courses of action to mitigate these risks and build organizational resilience. The module covers areas such as strategic management in a changing environment, managing strategic change, vision, mission, AI impact, financial health, stakeholder analysis, forms of organizational transformation, managing change, and building organizational resilience.
Business Analytics for Strategic Decision Making
This module focuses on business analytical methods and tools for strategic decision making, addressing ethical, data protection, and governance issues. It introduces statistical inference, hypothesis testing, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving techniques. Students will learn to explore, describe, visualize, analyze, and interpret data using statistical analytics software and Generative AI. Successful completion will enable students to understand data privacy, security, ethics, big data, and data analytics, use descriptive analytics techniques, select appropriate statistical tools, and critically evaluate and communicate insights to aid business decision-making.
Independent Study: Research Methods
Independent Study is a crucial part of a master's program, allowing students to conduct in-depth investigations into a significant management problem or business issue. This module enhances knowledge and intellectual skills gained during the Independent Study: Research Methods module, allowing students to explore relevant topics. Successful completion of the module enables students to develop and apply analytical frameworks, enhance their competencies for future research, and plan their own development. The Independent Study: dissertation module is a major learning experience, allowing students to pursue a specific area of business, management, and strategy with academic rigor. Each study is supervised by a Supervisor.

The minimum English language requirement is equivalent to IELTS 7.0 (C1). If you do not possess an official English language certificate, you can sit the College’s internal placement test.
