Little actions can make a big difference
Mediterranean College is once again organizing its annual Xmas Charity Weeks – a series of social solidarity actions aimed at supporting organizations that help children and families in need. From 1 to 17 December, students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors in Athens and Thessaloniki join forces to spread joy, hope, and create meaningful positive change.
ACTIONS – ATHENS CAMPUS
1-17 December
Wish Stars | Make-A-Wish Greece
This year, at the specially designed Wish Box located on campus, everyone can purchase their own Wish Star and help make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses. Fill a cloudy sky with stars for a child and offer hope.

Volunteer Blood Donation – Drama Lab, Athens Campus
In collaboration with the General Oncology Hospital “Agioi Anargyroi,” Mediterranean College is organizing a solidarity blood drive. Just a few minutes of our time can become a tremendous gift of life for those in need.
12 December | 17:00 – 18:30
Visit to the “Network for Children’s Rights”
The MC Theatre Group presents a special theatrical performance for the children of the Network, while the Students Union offers gifts collected through fundraising.
Be the Santa who brings joy to a child – every contribution counts.

ELEPAP Christmas Bazaar & Street Event – Pellinis Pedestrian Street
Mediterranean College hosts the ELEPAP Christmas Bazaar, featuring unique gifts, handmade creations, and festive ideas for everyone. At the same time, Pellini’s pedestrian street transforms into a Christmas neighborhood with:
- Street event with music and festive atmosphere
- Christmas lights and sparkling decorations
- Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and Christmas treats served by Mediterranean College students
- Small surprises and cheerful happenings
Students invite academic and administrative staff for a sweet “break time,” full of smiles, festive aromas, and the joy of giving.
Because Christmas becomes more beautiful when we share it.
ACTIONS – THESSALONIKI CAMPUS

The well-known Make-A-Wish Greece Box will also be available at the Thessaloniki campus, supporting even more wishes.

“Lampsi” Christmas Bazaar – Christmas Event Student Lounge
The Mediterranean College Thessaloniki campus will host a bazaar by “Lampsi,” the Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Diseases – an event full of love and support, featuring creations that help strengthen children who fight their own daily battles.
At the same time, MC students welcome academic and administrative staff to a festive “break time” in the campus lounge.
The event includes:
- Hot chocolate, tea, coffee & Christmas treats served by students
- Festive atmosphere with music and Christmas decorations
- Small surprises and activities
An initiative that unites the MC community with the efforts of the families supported by “Lampsi.”
16 December
Visit to the “Melissa” Orphanage
Mediterranean College students will read stories and engage in theatrical play with the children of the NGO “Melissa.”
The gifts shared with the children will be purchased through fundraising by the Students Union.
We share stories, playtime and – above all – love.
