Dr. George Iatrou holds a bachelor degree in Philosophy, Education and Psychology and a master in Mental Health. He is a Phd candidate at the School of Medicine, University of Thessaly. He is specialized in family therapy and in counseling psychology.He works especially with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and as a counselor for children and families. During the past 3 years he is a certified counselor in good enough parenting and attachment parenting and he coordinates seminars for parents. He has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. His research interests are in empathy, compassion and mental health care.
