Georgia Nasiopoulou holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is specialized in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and in Group Therapy, and she is certified as an Advanced level Schema Therapist and supervisor. Her last training on the Good Enough Parenting program has certified her as a Parenting Facilitator. She has worked for several years as a tutor and an adult educator. Since 2008, she is coordinating parents’ counseling groups for the Institution of Youth and Lifelong Learning. She also works at private practice as a psychologist and a group therapist. She is the Programme Leader of the MSc Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as of the Higher National Diploma in Counselling and Psychology, and the Advanced Professional Certificate in Counselling: Theory and Practice, at Mediterranean College of Thessaloniki. She has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. Her research interests are in the area of health psychology, psychopathology, psycholinguistics, cognitive-behavioral therapy, group therapy and schema therapy.
