Ino Papageorgaki holds a MEng in Rural & Surveying Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.), in Water Resources: Science and Technology, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is currently a Ph.D. student at NTUA. Her research and work experience are in spatial information analysis by Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in surveying, photogrammetry, mapping, hydrology and natural hazards. She is a collaborator in research projects carried out by the Laboratory of Reclamation Works and Water Resources Management at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, N.T.U.A. and since 2010 has also supervised several diploma theses in surveying, hydrology and flood risk. A University of Derby accredited lecturer since 2016 she is the Module Leader for Site Surveying and Flood Risk Management at MC School of Engineering.
